    THE PARABLES

    FACILITATOR: FRANK WILKERSON

LOCATION: EDUCATION CENTER (ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE MAIN CHURCH BUILDING), ROOM EC13

Various sections of the Bible give us grand theology. Other sections move us to a grateful response to God. Parables break through mere words and make us ask whether God's truth has made any real difference in our lives. Jesus packaged truth in parables! This study will look at two major questions while we examine these wonderful and memorable truths. Question #1:Why did Jesus teach in parables? Question #2: How do we interpret them correctly? If you think you know, beware😁

CELEBRATING JESUS IN THE BIBLICAL FEASTS

    FACILITATOR: JOHN CALL

Weave the Scarlet Thread From the Feasts of Israel to Jesus! This intriguing and biblically sound book clearly shows the significance of each Feast of the Lord—and how they all point to Jesus. Dr. Richard Booker depicts the unity found in God’s unfolding purposes for His people, be they Jew or Gentile, from the new birth found in Passover and the Crucifixion, all the way to entering God’s rest found in the Feast of Tabernacles and the Second Coming. The Feasts of the Lord are pictures of the Messiah, and represent seven phases of spiritual growth in the life of believers: Passover • Unleavened Bread • First Fruits • Pentecost • Trumpets • Atonement • Tabernacles.

    THINGS TO COME

    FACILITAROR: BARBARA LESLIE

    STARTING SEPTEMBER 8TH

    MONDAY NIGHTS FROM 6:30PM - 8:30PM

The Bible devotes considerable space to the events that were prophetic when they were written, and the events that are yet to be fulfilled. These events outline God’s redemptive plan for His people and the earth, as well as the final judgment and victory over evil. The heart of this class is for Christ followers to make a careful study of these events, and to have a better understanding of the things of God.

Deep in the soul of every person on earth is a longing for the presence of God. For the greatest barrier of all is the conflict between man's desire for God and his sinful desire to please himself. In Experiencing the Presence of God, Tozer examines what it means to dwell in God's presence and invites believers into a fresh understanding and experience of God's indwelling presence.

THE AMAZING COLLECTION: PAUL'S LETTERS TO THE CHURCHES

    FACILITATOR: bETTY JEAN CARTER

    TUESDAY MORNINGS AT 9:30 AM

    location: EDUCATION CENTER, ROOM EC13

    begins JANUARY 14TH

As we will see, these letters by the Apostle Paul contain both doctrine and practical explanation. The apostle took the great truths of the life, death, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ and explained and applied them for the members of these newly established centers of Christian worship and witness. Because of the different circumstances into which Paul sent these letters, each has its own flavor and emphasis. However, the Spirit of God and the purpose of the Scriptures make them as applicable today as they were nearly two thousand years ago when the apostle originally penned them.
